Uni-Gas is a Premium non-hardening jointing
compound, which, when used in combination with Flax, is ideal for the sealing
of threaded joints for use with potable and drinking water, all 3 gas types,
hot water, compressed air, heating and cooling applications. Uni-Gas has high end approvals & certificates
including EN 751-2 and German DVGW Din.30660. It is a truly “Universal” sealant
suitable for most professional and technical jobs. Uni-Gas is non hardening, cures pliable, so no cracks or
leaks. The 200gm. Ergonomic tube shape fits easily into
plumbers’ hand, tool bag or box. Temperature Range:
- 20 degree C to + 130-degree C. For best results use with refined Uni-Flax as the binding
agent.
Uni-pipe-slip can be used for plastic, water pipes, gas pipes, cable pulls etc. It is an anti-friction pipe lubricant with silicone. The silicone facilitates subsequent disassembly or adjustment of pipes, while protecting rubber gaskets from drying out.
Uni-white is a special Jointing Compound is an easily applied non-toxic pipe jointing compound. Uni-white jointing compound used in conjunction with hemp / flax is ideal for the sealing of threaded pipe joints. It acts as a lubricant to enable pipe threads to be screwed tight and, as Uni-white never hardens, joints will withstand movement and vibrations, preventing leaks. Because Uni-white never hardens it permits future dismantling of the joints. Suitable for potable water. Also suitable for sub-zero temperatures, providing joints are assembled at zero plus temperature. It is non-hazardous to health or the environment. Uni-white jointing compound conforms to BS6956 Part 5: 1992 for use with potable water and low-pressure steam (max P.S.I 100).
Uni-red is for threaded pipe joints, on all fuels such as diesel, petrol, fuel oil and other industrial applications. It retains tight seals under high pressure (max. 30 bar), temperature fluctuations and vibrations. It is to be used in conjunction with Uni-Flax. It can be dissolved by perchloroethylene and ethanol.
Uni-Flax is an alternative to PTFE tape. It is used as a sealer on pipe joints, and can be used to seal heavier gauge pipework, but must be used in conjunction with a suitable paste sealant. There’s no knots, tangles or hassle while using, or waste as there is an easy feed every time. It should be applied evenly and tightly to the thread in the direction of inclination of the thread. It makes tough jobs easy.
